Surgical sink with mixed taps

The surgical hand wash trough with mixed taps combines two touch-free control modes on a single basin: an electronic sensor tap and an elbow-lever mixer, for two simultaneous users.

Key features

• Material: stainless steel, fully welded assembly.
• Two positions, two controls: an electronic sensor tap (ref. 460808) and an elbow-lever mixer (ref. 463218) — both worked without the hands.
• Deep basin: 350 mm deep, sized for scrubbing up to the elbows without splashing.
• Splashback: supplied undrilled so the installer can set the taps at the height the theatre's water outlets require.
• Installation: wall-mounted, connected to the water supply and to a waste outlet.

Recommended use

For operating theatres and surgical preparation areas, where protocol calls for touch-free scrubbing up to the elbows.

• Operating theatres and procedure rooms
• Clinics and day-surgery centres
• Laboratories and cleanrooms
• Veterinary surgical services

Additional benefits

• Two modes at one station: the electronic tap for routine washing, the elbow lever for fine control of temperature and flow.
• No cross-contamination: both taps are worked without hand contact.
• Continuity of service: a mechanical control stays available even if the electronics go down.
• Durability: welded stainless steel, no rivets, unaffected by corrosion and by disinfectants.

Investing in this surgical hand wash trough means a sturdy, genuinely hygienic solution that meets theatre requirements.

Restrictions and warnings

• Splashback supplied undrilled: drilling is done on site, positioning the taps so that the hands stay above the elbows.
• Not a self-contained unit: it must be connected to the mains water supply and to a waste outlet.
• Intended exclusively for washing hands and forearms.
