Stainless steel XS model floor-standing hand washbasin. Foot operated. Not mobile. Mixed hot and cold water.

The XS freestanding stainless steel hand wash basin is the most compact format in the freestanding range: it fits in a service corridor or a cramped room while still offering a full round bowl. The floor push button releases the water without hands touching the unit.

Key features

• Material: stainless steel, brushed satin finish; bowl and pedestal form a fully welded assembly.
• Control: foot push button — no hand contact with the tap.
• Bowl: round, with a drip-stop rim that contains splashes.
• Built-in equipment: waste bin housed in the pedestal.
• Water supply: 360° swivelling stainless steel gooseneck spout, fed by a non-return mixing valve that sets the temperature.
• Installation: floor-standing against a wall, screw fixing recommended. Removable front panel for access to the connections; recessed lower rear section to clear the sanitary skirting.
• Safety: pedestal narrower than the top, keeping the walkway clear and feet away from the edge.

Recommended use

Designed for washing points installed where floor space is tight and contact with the tap must be avoided.

• Healthcare, clinics and laboratories
• Food industry and processing plants
• Professional kitchens, catering and public institutions
• Supermarkets and food retail

Additional benefits

• Enhanced hygiene: foot operation removes the most common point of recontamination, the tap itself.
• Minimal footprint: the XS format fits where a standard hand wash basin will not.
• No power supply needed: purely mechanical control, nothing to power or replace.
• Durability: welded one-piece body, no rivets, unaffected by corrosion and impact.
• Easy maintenance: non-porous surface and a round bowl with no corners, cleaned in a single pass.

Investing in this freestanding hand wash basin means a sturdy, genuinely hygienic solution that fits visually into any professional environment.

Restrictions and warnings

• Not a self-contained unit: it has no tank and no pump, and must be connected to the mains water supply and to a waste outlet.
• Intended exclusively for hand washing.
